Author Guidelines

 

Tropical Plantation Journal is an open-access, peer-reviewed scientific journal that publishes plantation-related research manuscripts standard provisions and requirements that must be met in the publication of the manuscript. The manuscript is the result of the latest research in accordance with the scope of tropical plantations' maximum research time span of the last 4 years. Screenwriting uses Indonesian or English with standard spelling and grammar without using terms that are not yet understood.

 

  1. Waiting writing format : Font : Time New Roman, Size : 11 pt, Space ; 1.5, Paper size : A4, Margin : Top / bottom 2.5 cm, Left / Right 2 cm. Manuscripts are written in no more than 7000 words and a maximum of 10 pages, including:
  2. The title contains an overview of the overall core of the research manuscript, concisely summarized and informative of a maximum of 15 words by limiting the use of terms, brushes, or formulas.
  3. Author listed without mentioning title, affiliates listed, and email author correspondence listed
  4. Abstract is a summary of research in one paragraph of no more than 200 words. The abstract should briefly and concisely describe the problem, objectives, methods, significant data, key findings, and conclusions.
  5. Keywords not use words or terms in the title. Keywords should avoid general and plural terms, as well as some concepts. Keywords should not be more than five words or phrases in alphabetical order.
  6. Introduction contains the background, reasons for the importance of research or hypotheses conducted on the basis of the approach and theoretical literature of relevant and up-to-date research (at least the last 5 years). There is no limit to the number of paragraphs in the introduction, but it covers the background, purpose, position in previous research, and novelty.
  7. Materials and Methods provide a concise explanation of the use of materials and tools, research methods and models either experimentally or surveyed, population and sample data collection techniques, data types and sources, and data analysis collection and methods. In methodology, it is necessary to list the place, time, and design of research, research procedures, data retrieval techniques, and testing techniques to establish reference sources for each method or application of data analysis used in research.
  8. Results and Discussions are the use of tables, graphs, and illustrations of research results to provide a clear understanding of the data obtained from the research. Clear the findings of the specginification and specific findings clearly and briefly to integrate the purpose of the study with the results of the study supported by the latest references.
  9. Conclusions are summaries and implications of the main findings of the study. Written in one paragraph linking the title, objectives, and discussion of research results,
  10. Acknowledgements by mentioning the source of funds and institutions or individuals who assisted in research that has been conducted.
  11. References are drawn from high-quality journals/proceedings published within the last five years, accounting for at least 80% of the total bibliography.Reference citations in text are suggested using EndNote, Mendeley, Zotero, and other apps. The bibliography is formatted in IEEE style.

  4. The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  5. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  6. If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.

The copyright of the received article shall be assigned to the journal as the publisher of the journal. The intended copyright includes the right to publish the article in various forms (including reprints). The journal maintains the publishing rights to the published articles.
